In Fort Greg-Adams in Virginia USA there is the presidential armored Train Car for when they (I think FDR/Truman but don't quote me) traveled during election years. Many locations are falling apart, they run on tech from when we used floppy discs, and some have poor security protocols. There are actually a fair amount of news stories on the poor condition of the arsenal. I think John Oliver did as piece on it as well. So all that is to say we definitely spend more money on our navy than nukes.

There’s a great scene early on where Superman finds the Flash on the watchtower, asks him for a game of chess, and over many fast games they have a very fast conversation that basically goes, “If, hypothetically, we decided to outlaw guns tomorrow… how long would that take us to enforce? The two of us, I mean. You and me. Like half a day right?”
