2024-10-24 00:56:09 +0000 UTCOk here we go, it's been a while since I took quantum physics but I'll give it a spin (pun intended). Due to the limits of... physics... you can't measure any (including entangled) particle without changing it, so you can't know what the state was before changing it on a particle, you will know that after you measure particle A particle B will have opposite spin as to the current spin of particle A, however, there is no way to transmit information (even an on/off state) since the observers at particle B can't receive the information about the change of state in particle A any faster than the speed of light(transmitted from particle A's location conventionally), as measuring particle B would disrupt any theoretical transmission of information. It's kinda (though really not at all) like you can send information but never receive it, bc receiving it is functionally identical to destroying it. Someone who actually has a degree in quantum mechanics would easily correct me on some or all of this, but I believe that's the gist of how quantum communication doesn't actually work.
