I am currently beating my head into my desk over Armored Core IV now and its the best most annoying game i have ever played. Like this is the closest thing to a souls like that i have ever played and i totally haven't been stuck on G1 for the past 10 hours.... only to get past him and accidently start the bad ending and am now stuck on you know WHO. GOD I LOVE this game but i can feel my blood pressure boiling, i get so close only to get stagged locked into DEATH!!!!!!

2025-01-19 19:33:36 +0000 UTCyou know it surprises me that either not a lot of people know or simple forgot that there is a cult of Mechanicus called the Cult of the Void Dragon. They assisted in the Horus Heresy and are the ones who made the demon genetics that corrupted the Gene Seed of the Emperor that Corvus Corax used to help him rebuild the Raven Guard. The first batch of space marines were fine but the second onward were demon infected. The Cult of the Void Dragon had an active role in working with the Alpha Legion my source is the book Deliverance Lost for those who wish to know.

Because they would actually explore the necrons and try to steal their records. They would love to see a faction of living machines and would obviously chase any lead about doing that for themselves, then they could begin a giant heist novel series to get to mars and steal it. First they need to steal necron tech to trap it which means finding a major dynasty, most likely a corrupted one, then get to mars and to the most secure section of it to even access the vault, then free and transport the shard, and then escape mars with it while being hunted by literally everyone. And the ending either freeing it, failing but reveal its existence to the mechanicum, succeed in stealing it and give it to vashtor in exchange for something major which cements them as a major faction in their own right and allows vashtor to begin his ascension plans, free it but then have trayzin steal it or sell it to trayzin for something from his vault. (A certain clone from Fabius bile? Imagine what the dark mechanicus could do with a primarch clone), or they fail at the last moment and nothing changes. It could be an interesting series of books with them slowly building up, give some personality to the dark mechanicus and insight into the non astartes chaos factions, have some good coverage of necrons, imperium, chaos, and other factions, and it could help provide a good plot point for the future either in the imperium or chaoโs favor.
