I probably should have done this hours ago, but I guess it just slipped my mind. The upcoming chapter is NOMU's Vs Endeavor, and the fight will take place right after and I have been partially working to flesh out the best quirks that are AFO plausible to have and be willing to squander on NOMU.
Right now I have thirteen choices for the current three Nomu.
I have decided to make a Poll and let you guys pick which should be used, and which should go to which Nomu. Also, if you have a better idea for quirks, feel free to tell me.
Here are the current thirteen options.
Localized Earthquake Manipulator
Sonic screaming
Heat Resistance
Barrier Generation
Speed booster
Kinetic booster

Enhanced Density

This is all I could think of that are perfectly balanced. Let me know in the comments if you have better choices.
Comments
Air control or vaccum control make sense as a direct counter as then endevor can't make fire. I believe he makes fire explicitly and not heat. Or go the other way around and make his fire turn into a uncontrolled firestorm. Alternatively ceramics or anything tungsten based around that would be intrensically fire resistant. Could base it on sound based fire suppression Or just make the thing a bomb, reusing heat to explode

A role of occupying the attention of heroes while applying still applying the occasional pressure on Endeavor. Bone defense and projectile with rapid movement for repositioning.

2026-01-06 09:04:23 +0000 UTCBlood manipulation + Poison Blood would be a good combo for Endeavour so when he evapourates the blood the area slowly fills up with poison, so he's fighting a Nomu which can make constructs and Poison him at the same time

2026-01-06 08:00:11 +0000 UTCCould do a bit where during the Forest Training Camp Aoyama is sent to get blood samples of specific people to use their quirks in future Nomu's, a Half Hot, Half Cold Nomu could be an interesting addition for MVA or the Paranormal Liberation Front arc alongside Anie Voice + Landmine (the one the blue lady from MVA had), I imagine Shigaraki would collect bodies after the mini war for garaki to make new interesting Nomu. Landmine coupled with the Vine hair one letting it make a long line of exploding hair could be an interesting fight or Monoma's copy combined with Kuroiro's Black would be a scary combo specially at night. But yeah it'd make it way harder to forgive Aoyama down the line which makes for a more interesting story as they were waaayy to chill about their classmate feeding intel to people actively trying to kill them in cannon.

These are assuming he kept copies of the quirks he gave Number 6 from MHA Vigilantes. Given he had copies of a lot of other quirks I would assume he has backups. He'd peobably have backups of Nine's quirks as well, although given their complexity they'd have to be saved for high ends. Infinite exploding nomu using the multiple explosion quirks and high speed regen combo number 6 used AFO already knows is super effective for causing mass destruction and panic, I feel like he would use it again though it'd have to be when he doessnt care about being connected to past incidents since Best Jeaniest, Aizawa and Edgeshot would recoginise that wombo combo from the number 6 incident. Could make for a cool moment with Aizawa though getting flashbacks to the Nunber 6 incident and Koichi.
