Added 2023-11-25 03:30:42 +0000 UTCAfter almost a decade of constant revisions, training and experience, I've released the ultimate version of my Streets of Rage expanded & enhanced soundtracks. For new viewers, these soundtracks are faithful note-for-note recreations of Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima's original SOR songs, built from the ground up with NO remix stems, and NO samples. Everything has been meticulously recreated from scratch. Next, I build entirely new sections onto the existing songs to flesh them out and give them more character and scope.
These are my compositions, designed to work hand-in-hand with the original songs. The objective was to simulate what the composers might have done if they had more time, better hardware, and greater storage capacities beyond the limits of the 16-Bit age. I'm happy to release the "Final Crash" editions of each soundtrack, a reference to the iconic attack move used by the enemy boss Shiva from Streets of Rage 2. These soundtracks were remastered and rebalanced for ultimate sonic clarity, so they could be used with F-Games' upcoming Streets of Rage X fangame, which I highly suggest you all try.
