Streets of Rage 2 (Expanded & Enhanced) • "FINAL CRASH" edition

For new viewers, these soundtracks are faithful note-for-note recreations of Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima's original SOR songs, built from the ground up with NO remix stems, and NO samples. Everything has been meticulously recreated from scratch. Next, I build entirely new sections onto the existing songs to flesh them out and give them more character and scope.
These are my compositions, designed to work hand-in-hand with the original songs. The objective was to simulate what the composers might have done if they had more time, better hardware, and greater storage capacities beyond the limits of the 16-Bit age. I've always had a special place in my heart for SOR2, and ever since I played the game in my teenage years, I dreamt of what it might sound like to hear "expanded" versions of these songs one day. When the technology allowed fo rit, I was irresistibly attracted to the idea of composing, and this was the path I decided to take. It's a passion project designed to pay homage to the original game series, as well as the wonderfully talented composers. My soundtracks were remastered and rebalanced for ultimate sonic clarity, so they could be used with F-Games' upcoming Streets of Rage X fangame, which I highly suggest you all try. Please enjoy my work, dedicated to Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima, who have influenced me beyond belief.
