Faye Beat Down - Comic + story (Cowboy Bebop)

First post of the year! this was a request from a high tier patron. As you can see he has a good taste for belly punching AND for writing as well! He was cool enough to write a brief story to accompany this comic:

Faye and Spike both got a lead on a new bounty. A small gang of drug dealers worth a modest amount. Before entering the bar, Spike and Faye decide that catching the opponent by surprise would be the best approach. They both enter the bar. Spike talks to a few gang members,acting like he wants to buy, while Faye sits by the bar as a lookout in case things go south. As Spike talks to the deals, Faye gets approached by one of the gang members, "What's a sexy little thing like you doing here all alone?" one of the members says to Faye. She scoffs and looks away, "Not interested, pal." He gets a little closer and grabs her ass with one hand, "What's the matter sweetheart? Don't worry, I can warm you up."

Faye caught by surprise, punches the gang member in the face. He staggers back and holds his bruised cheek. "You bitch!" he then charges forward. She dodged out of the way and knees him in the gut. Faye looks at her downed opponent with her hands on her hips. "That all you got, tough guy?" She looks around and sees that she got the attention of some of the other gang members. Spike, still trying to play it cool, doesn't want to give away that he's working with her. He talks to a gang member, trying to distract him, "So anyway... how much for a kilo?"

Unfortunately several gang members charge towards Faye. She takes on the first guy that comes her way, dodging punches and giving him a roundhouse kick to the face. But then, without her noticing, one of the thugs sneaks behind her and locks her up in a full nelson. Faye's torso stretches out and arches her arms get pulled up far from her body, leaving her helpless. She wriggles and squirms in his grip, but is stuck. Beads of sweat start to drip down her forehead as the gang members taunt her. She knows she is in trouble. She looks over at Spike and calls out for help.

"Dammit Faye!" Spike thinks as he sees her locked up, about to get a beat down. The gang member he was talking to looks at Spike with narrowing eyes. Spike realizes the gig is up, and throws a punch and knock out the one gang member he was chatting with. 4 guys get between Faye and Spike. "Faye! Just hang on!" Spike rumbles with 4 of the gang members while Faye starts taking punches to her belly. Faye hears the rhythmic thudding of a fist pounding into her guts. All she can do it take it. Punch after punch, she feels her core get weaker and weaker. She sees that Spike managed to knock out 2 of the guys he was battling. Her grunts get weaker as the guys beating her up continue to mock her. She's not sure how much more she can take. She can hear her stomach start to churn and gurgle, she's almost completely out of strength and she goes limp in her holder's grasp.

"Alright, one more good punch, then it's lights out, missy" One of the thugs winds up in fist, Faye's holder pulls her up and arches her back. Faye's eyes widen... then she closes her eyes, accepting her fate... When suddenly she feels her holder release her to the ground while she hears a hard crack behind her. She looks up and sees that Spike took a bar stool to the spine of her holder. Faye curls up and holds her stomach as Spike cleans out the rest of the thugs. HE zip ties all their hands behind their back and comes to aid Faye.

"You ok?" Spike asks. Faye opens her eyes and says, "You couldn't work any faster?" then passes out. The cops come to arrest the gang, and Faye gets taken to the hospital to recover.
