For these darker scenes I did a lot of reading b&w Belasco comics as reference for how to do hard black tones ๐ and like you said it's also a good reason to have a minimal background ๐คฃ๐ Honestly I've had overwhelmingly positive feedback with this format and I'm looking forward to experimenting with it more. Wanted to experiment with something different, and more user-friendly for mobile users, and just got lucky. Looking forward to seeing a Belasco tale in this format ๐ Translating it into a downloadable PDF in the future will be it's own challenge, but that's a problem for later ๐

Also itโs an effect way to not have to do a lot of backgrounds! ๐ But honestly, superb work here! Iโm curious to see how it will format into the traditional page layout! Really making me want to do more black and white art as well as experiment with the strip format as I know it reads much better on the app than a traditional page tends to. Bravo ๐๐ฝ
