Shower Flirtation
Added 2025-08-11 12:26:48 +0000 UTCBeen ages since I've worked in colour, so just having a play with one of my favourite shots from the series.
I kept the palette very desaturated to keep that old-skool feel to it, and desaturated the background characters even more to keep the focus on Nate & BJ.
With the shading, I kept it very subtle and understated: using a crosshatch texture for the shadows.
Finally, I removed the white border so you can see the frayed edges! Maybe it's a mental response to all the clean-and-precise AI-generated sludge, but I'm really enjotying art thats imperfect, a little rough, or lets you see under the hood.
