Down by the river...

Today on questions you probably didn't want the answers to: What exactly does live in that river that bothers everyone so much to look at. Well, the answer is these things.

I had my favorite monster artist, John Latta, draw up the entire evolution chain as concept art sketches. There's one more not featured here which we'll see later (technically we haven't seen the winged ones yet either so mild spoiler there, but they show up soon enough). In general we'll be learning a lot more about these things quite soon, so I'll hold off on commenting much here - but I wanted you to have a very good idea of what Infinity just dove into. :)

I'm actually working on a website for the book right now that will include a complete bestiary of all the unique monsters/creatures in the book with anywhere from full art (by John) or sketches like these. I love how he draws monsters so plan to have him do sketches of anything that isn't just a generic fantasy monster going forward.
