More generalised, when people reject their own dharma in pursuit of "feels", you get a societal breakdown. You don't feel like having duties and "pursue your own happiness", your wife and children starve. You don't feel like repelling invaders and prefer cooking, the invaders kill everybody and eventually burn down your kitchen, and then you still have to fight but then it's too late because everybody died already. So yeah, have fun with liberalism and individualism, it works great if nothing you do matters. However, if it matters and you neglect your duties, there are consequences. For instance, you get to see your friends die, your family leave you, or your society break down so you get to live in a shithole.
