I'm trying to look at this from Salvos' point of view - this is the second legion she encountered, and in both of them the commander is literally torturing the slave demons for his pleasure. This looks very much like a pattern imposed from above, and tells you something about Regnorex and how he sees others. To her, that must look as bad as anything she's seen, and let's remember she's been under influence of the Valiant Dreamers, she's seen how Mori Gladius protects his adventurers and civilians, she saw adventurer armies in action, and these look either like Belzu's army of hypnotised monsters, the horned demon or the Iron Company, basically they are everything she hates, so it's no wonder she crushed this overgrown Mindreaper like a bug, not even bothering to use weapons. Also, if we remember that Regnorex deliberately sacrificed all of his units sent to the Mortal Realm just to power the sacrificial ritual, there's a pattern of callousness, indifference, cruelty and neglect, and promoting cruel assholes into the role of slave drivers. She must remember how one such asshole, Lucerna, captured herself and Haec like they were things, violating their will in order to enslave them, and they could have easily been among those poor creatures there, helpless to do anything and without anyone to save them. To them, she must look literally like a saviour goddess who delivered them from a very literal hell. No wonder she is angry, and this anger looks like something Regnorex is about to taste, since he looks very much like root of all evil that happened to her. Humans hate all demons including herself because of him. Lucerna who caused her to be torn away from Haec was his loyal servant. Belzu came to the Mortal Realm and caused all sorts of trouble because of Regnorex. All those demons who threatened herself and her companions were Regnorex' servants, and now he wants to just callously break the world and kill all her friends because he had some stupid idea. In her language, he's the horned demon that just happened to grow very large by being a cruel bastard.

It's efficient, fast, both dispersed because it is split into multiple units of comparable strength, and united under a centralised command and intelligence of Salvos. She can instantly reinforce or withdraw any unit that's threatened, or re-shape the battlefield according to needs. Essentially, it's as if she had an un-jammable radio connection between the units, and supersensory coverage within each unit. The drawbacks, well, her clones occasionally get killed when they get carried away against a strong target, and then she loses contact with this unit, which means a clone should be the most protected element of each unit, but they are usually the strongest offensive asset as well, which means that this should not be used as a strategy against anyone over lvl 165 or so. Also, it's interesting that she separated Haec and Taburas, which is actually an excellent idea because Taburas, although useful with her [I am your sword and your shield] skill that complements Haec's fighting style, is going to just break his concentration with her bullshit. Also, the unit with just a Salvos clone and ordinary demons is the weakest, and might suffer nasty losses if they run into a threat that's too much for the clone to deal with quickly, or, alternatively, she might have to resort to using a grand skill, which would be unfortunate. I would, however, expect them to have good intelligence from Ultis, Aliq and possibly Hartia, so they would know where to send the strongest units, and where weaker ones would suffice.

I hope she put her foot down with Haec and others, like, "OK guys, I put up with your silly shit so far, but we are running out of time, and none of you had an experience leading an actual army in an actual war, since you were all slaves while I led an army of humans against the forces of Regnorex, so here's what we're going to do."

She must appear as terrifyingly powerful as Regnorex, and yet she's a sweetheart.

Everybody who had to fight him had the best training against illusions and curses imaginable. But while we're at it, I need to think up other possible problem scenarios for Salvos, because one of them was stumbling upon an illusion cast by some high-level demon, and another was being assaulted by high-powered mind magic, but apparently anything strong enough to be dangerous will trigger a warning from the angelic premonition, and then she can either create a corruption shield around herself to disrupt magic, or something.

On the one side, that makes defeating them easier, on the other hand, the level yield will be far lower. So Salvos evolving before the fight with Reggie seems less likely

I know because it's extremely funny to me as a Croatian because it translates to "Retard", as in "You killed Retard, you bastard!" or "Retard of the Sixteenth Legion", which is also funny af. :)
