The only items I can remember about that are that Solis hates humans that aren't gods (according to Willy just before Edithe went to spirit plane), it villified necromancy (according to Zach the Lich), and Solis is waiting for Regnorex to do stuff before "[Solis] makes his move" (according to fairy queen when the devil visited her while Salvos was in the bloody gulf). I don't think we've gotten any other details on the contract?

I can't even guess properly because there's so little to work with. There are several interesting possibilities I'm playing with, though. Like, is System seeing Salvos as its agent, or at least an instrument? Many things that happened to her are too convenient to be an accident. She just happened to be everywhere, where she could hear the full story about the corruption. The Devil just happened to meet her, "by accident". She just happened to meet Xidra in the wilderness. She just happened to meet Belphegor in the ancient ruins. And now she just happens to be leading an uprising against Regnorex, who is planning to break the Nexeus. If the Archangel is indeed the agent of the System, he might know more about this than anyone, and even consider Salvos "that other Angel that works in the Netherworld". Compared to what we know about those things, Edithe and her team know less than nothing.

2024-09-08 16:26:36 +0000 UTCThey are preconditioned that the Archangel is insane, and it's possible, in fact likely, that whatever he'll tell them will sound like a garbled mess, the way Belphegor sounded to Salvos, as if he's more than half insane, but everything he said was true and uniquely valuable. The problem is, none of them knows anything about Trico, the corruption, the actual problems with the Spirit Lord's contract with Alexander, and the possible betrayal of the Nexeus itself that is committed by it. If anything, everything they think they know is false. They don't even know about the System. Only Daniel assumes some computer must run the whole thing and post notifications and stats.
