I loved seeing you catch on immediately about Louis trying to make sure Lestat wasn't really in the picture!

btw, "Puce" (what the coven has been calling Claudia) means "flea"β€”hence the flea circus at the endβ€”but is actually treated as a term of endearment or pet name in France, so it's not nearly as nasty as I think it sounds in English. also that Jean-Paul guy in the cafe? Fun little easter egg: that was meant to be famous existentialist philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre. I love Armand and Louis arguing about philosophy in the cafe, because that was one of their big things in the book: intellectual attraction, with similar interests in religion and ethics and philosophy, as opposed to Lestat's "the meaning of life is for you to enjoy yourself and stop asking questions" approach. Even if they don't belong together, that aspect of their dynamic was fascinating to me. Louis and Armand are a whole complicated mess... but damn are they fine. Loving your reactions!!!
