"The boy was aggressive." Is the lawyer basically saying that Brittany was raped?! Both Brittany and her lawyer's statements are DISGUSTING. I cannot believe what I just heard. Thank you to that reporter for calling that lawyer out for her disgusting child-victim blaming as she was walking away.

2025-08-10 22:59:04 +0000 UTCI'm an AZ resident and child of a former foster care review advocate and retired AZ teacher; AZ is notoriously lax when it comes to sex crimes and child abuse, especially if the victim is male. It's extremely rare and difficult to bring child sex abuse cases to court, and, when they do, it's often because there's a preponderance of evidence—so much indisputable proof that the defendant is guilty that it would be negligent to not prosecute. Brittany Zamora was not convicted upon just texts, or just eye witness testimony, and the amount of evidence proving her guilt must have been overwhelming. Despite this, and because she's a female sex offender in AZ, she was only sentenced to 20 years and will leave prison at 47. if not earlier. All in all, she got off with mild consequences, yet Brittany, and her lawyer continue to push a damaging narrative. A sixth grader is not an aggressive sexual fiend, and a 27 adult has every resource available to reject, ignore, and report inappropriate behavior. She was not a powerless victim subjected to these awful things by a 13 year old, and it's truly horrific that her entire defense rested upon these delusions. Her lawyer, though presented with a herculean task, is morally reprehensible for her willingness to use this defense, as well as her post trial statements.

He was putting everything in the locker and she said, "At least you came prepared!" Nothing about this video is inherently funny, but the irony of a cop "coming prepared" for your own arrest really hit me. This case and video are of a very serious topic that needs to be discussed more. Male victims need help just as much as female victims or otherwise. You can't sugar coat SA.
