v0.2.3.5 - Update on character art

I just got back from vacation so this update is slimmer than usual. I focused mostly on writing instead and finally commissioned the art for the characters. I'm subsidizing my week off with an extra commission so both Scarlett and Timmy should get an art as they were the two winners of the last poll.

Finding artists is difficult, of the ones I knew most were not open to accepting commissions at the moment. I had to go scavenging, found an artist for both characters but only Timmy got accepted so now I'm looking for a new one for Scarlett. I try to match the artist to the character as much as possible (eg. Timmy is getting drawn by someone who's mostly doing trap related art). Different artists mean that characters won't have a consistent look, but that's not the goal as I'm already mixing videos with 2d art. As it is with art the characters will probably look different than before or how everyone might've imagined them but their main features should be there regardless.

I'm not sure when the pics will be ready. I'm hoping Timmy will be finished within the next 2 weeks and I can find someone for Scarlett asap. As soon as the art is ready for either I'll drop it here in a post before a release.

Content:

- Betas have three new quests in the storyline (spoilers below)

  - Quest #13: a surprise femdom scene with strap-on

  - Quest #14: buying the player's first dildo with Timmy

  - Quest #15: actually using the dildo for the first time

- Both roles got repeatable submissive scene with Scarlett (for betas it's dependent on the storyline)

- Both roles got a new masturbation option (for betas this is also dependent on the storyline)

Bugs:

- Equipped anal items not displaying in the inventory

- Masturbation through fingering was not possible after progressing in story

Devlog: Timmy and Scarlett are kind of the main characters right now. I imagined them as a kind of bad cop, good cop duo: Scarlett is dominant and controls the player and Timmy's just a cheerful helping hand but has no ill-will. It might've become apparent in the last few updates that Timmy's changing along with the player too. I plan to change him from full-on beta trap to becoming more open to topping so he can provide more options other than just tagging along to every quest. Initially this is a single-choice storyline for his character, but he keeps his beta tendencies so it's not a full-on swap either. If this works out though later I could split his character with optional sub/dom paths.

Bugs are the worst. It's mind boggling how a small choice can complicate a simple scene and spawn a dozen problems. There're not a lot of new features this time around but there still might be bugs unresolved. I have a live-feedback system in the game which shows the currently known bugs. I check submissions and update this after release so if there's any bug that's known/is being fixed it should be there. If it's not it's either not a bug, or I couldn't find it in the game despite a report.

Fun side note: now that the leaderboard was opened to the public and got flooded it also brought strangely a few bugs/cheats. There're about a dozen players who somehow fumbled with the system to get nigh impossible scores. I occasionally clean these out so if anyone notices a leading player disappearing from the board it's because of this. I'm still keeping scores below 10 million, although I'm fairly skeptical about those too.
