Hello Sinners, this is our mid-patch, in which we expand the Merchant a little bit, she now has more scenes when you go to talk to her. Kyoko has also received some new images if you give her tribute and leave, but outside of that - this patch has no big overhauls or bug fixes.
As far as development goes, I've come to a realization that what I want to do in Renpy may not be possible, and as such - an eventual pivot into a different game engine, likely Godot, is planned for the future. For now, Renpy will remain what is used, and I'm likely going to do an overhaul of the current code of the game to make it less buggy, but I don't see a way to make things work properly in Renpy for how I'd like combat to function in the future.
There are a couple of bugs I haven't quite ironed out of the Renpy version, and I'm likely to re-write the code for the game before 0.4, but I'm unsure when it will be entirely implemented into Godot. I'll do my best to fix what's here and attempt to make it work in Renpy, but I do think the other engine offers more flexibility and an easier workflow for building scenes and game mechanics.
