First of all, welcome to all the new members! Lovely to have you guys here.

As many of you have seen, the boss battle/theme music I made for the new Arknights OST is out now on (almost?) all platforms. I've been working on it off and on over the last few months and have been itching for you all to hear it (it was one of the things I mentioned I was under an NDA for in my update video).

It was a really, really cool experience to work on it with that team. They came to me specifically for my artistic vision, so I pretty much had free range to go as deep as I wanted with the lyricism and themes. The lore behind what they do is massive, so we definitely clicked a lot in that area. Their creative department has such beautiful artistic sentiments. If you haven't translated the text over the release video, you should try. The ending says "if god wants me to meet death as an angel, then I would rather -- ugly, brief and painful -- be born into this world in the form of a human."

It's been wild to see the response both in the US and over in China. There are millions of views on the announce video already on Bilibili, and some pretty cool reaction videos, including a dissection by a famous art professor that has 500k+ plays. (To be fair, I can't understand what she's saying -- she could be roasting it. Still cool though.)

I've gotten a lot of questions about the production behind the track, so will probably be making a few little breakdown videos over the next few weeks. I'll definitely do one about the vocal processing, but let me know if there are any other specific areas you'd like me to focus on.
