February '24 Stream Report

I've recently had two streaming sessions, one for poll results, the other for official ANet obligations, and they both yielded some interesting results to munch through.

First was the poll stream, which was tied on Patreon, but Hraesvelgr accumulated a landslide victory through Discord votes.

I ended up forging out some basic scene idea, even if I'm not terribly happy with the camera angle just yet. I will build a 3D model to help myself with the noodly angles a bit, and then refine a better sketch to work on during the next stream (which should be this weekend).

Hraesvelgr came with the added bonus of a sketch of one of his brood. I won't stream that particular sketch, since it will be done between other things, but in the words of Yoshi-P, please look forward to it, I'm pretty happy with the concept. (Feel free to guess which character it is though.)

I am not forgetting the other dragons, either, and they will probably get a chance to shine later on, even if it is not in a full-scale painting.

The second stream was the usual 2-hour Art Show held over at the official Guild Wars 2 Twitch account. I have wanted to design some proper manes for charr for a while, and I had a surprisingly lot of fun coming up with the concepts. I'll clean them up, add a few variants, mock up some proper sketches and fake screenshots with them, and you can expect the finished version to arrive early March.
