Apparently it was used as a sort of diagnostic tool to uncover hidden problems through visual hallucinations.. this allowed the shamans to treat whatever was wrong (e.g. family disputes, unhealthy lifestyles as Gael said). Idk why that topic stood out to me ๐ it was interesting but I'd rather have the passionflower tea ๐บ - love how soothing and calming this audio was too! ๐๐
