I remember Southwestern Bell and my uncle talking about how big they were and then how they became AT&T lol I agree with your first thought on big tech telling Dems what to do. I read a few articles back in 2018 that stated these big corps used to give to the Republicans but back in 2016 a shift occurred and now its more towards Democrats. Maybe they say we will donate to you if you permit or allow XYZ. I remember you did a video a while back on Apple using slave labor in China and in the Congo's to build phones. Lots of lawsuits and allocations but nothing changed. Do you think honestly the same will happen with Google? I do. I did read the EU was really pushing back on Apple for their CSAM. Since I live in Europe now I was happy to hear that. But with trying to stop Google from making phones and software default search engines I think they have become to powerful to stop. Do you see an agency or a collaboration of corps able to stop that? I feel just by educating people like you do on degoogling and privacy thinking is a great option.
