In many cases, you guys have reached out in a comment or DM about a topic you've found interesting and that has actually turned into content! Because you make my work possible, you have the privilege to make these suggestions!
So - what are some topics, cases or issues you want me to cover in my next videos and podcast episodes? Have you read or seen anything that you would want my input on? Feel free to post or DM any of your suggestions and I will consider all of them and turn the best ones into more videos and episodes!

2024-10-16 20:46:39 +0000 UTCI would like to know how to actually maximize privacy while being surrounded by family and friends who refuse to give up the convenience of their devices & apps that violate their privacy. For example, I have a blended family with 8 kids and a wife who uses TikTok and Facebook for her very successful business. It seems near impossible to remove myself from the equation when time and time again her device serves her ads based on conversations she has had with me. The same goes with my teenage daughters who are using the same category of apps. I am using a Pixel Fold with Graphene OS for my personal use, and I do what I can from my end to block unwanted tracking, but I feel like it isn’t doing anything in the end. Maybe I should cave and just dive in with the rest of society. My question to you is this: Is it a futile exercise for me to try and manage my own privacy while other devices around me are most likely building a profile for me by association? I feel this is the case for anyone who isn’t in a “cabin in the woods” as Simon from your last podcast feature said.

Futo seems to be getting some flack for not being FOSS and only open source. Although I know Nebula added a clause for marketing in their ToS but they don't have ads atm 2. The whole Mozilla debacle, with their sketchy business model but great browser, and how to balance that when it comes to privacy and future of privacy
