Super Figure Update – Plus-Size Beauties in 3D

After much more time (and quite a few headaches), I’ve finally made solid progress with the figures—among them Gwyndevere, Nani, and of course Clover. These pieces were commissioned from the talented artist https://x.com/MatiasT23021863, and for me they represent a step beyond digital art: bringing my characters into the physical world.

Right now, the figures I have planned are Clover, Gwyndevere, and Nani (Part 4). This is still a test, but I’ve leaned toward resin for most of the process, with a few parts tested in ABS. It’s not the final version yet—my plan is to refine the paintwork and even add real sand to the base—but I wanted to share where things are at right now.

The workflow so far: resin print, cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, UV-cured, sanded, primed, airbrushed with three different skin tones, and detailed by hand. I’m also experimenting with varnishes—matte and glossy—for different finishes, even a subtle “sweat effect.”
