MONTHLY PATREON UPDATE: SIGMA MONTH

Sigma month already?  Where does the time go!  That means it's time for my face reveal!

As you can see in Fig. 1, I removed my sunglasses for 0.01 seconds so you could take a gander at my GLORIOUS PEEPERS.  This counts as your birthday and Christmas present.  The dog tags I wear are in honour of my dog, Bitey.  We lost him in 'Nam during a family vacation when I let him loose in the jungle to do some reconnaissance and he never came back...  (Between you and me, I think they'd be vulnerable to a surprise attack.)

Fig. 2 is me doing my 3AM wake up workout!  I keep all my exercise equipment in the kitchen, so I can sweat adjacent to freshly made breakfast that I will NEVER eat!  And I make sure to only attempt to lift barbells that I am NOT strong enough to get off the ground!

Fig 3. shows the environment in which I play games and make comics.  Naturally I only operate computers through VR.  It's been hugely convenient updating from Xbox Kinect!  Perhaps too convenient.  I may have to go back.  My favourite games are dating sims in which I can REJECT EVERY GIRL.

--- GOALS FOR NOVEMBER ---

There are a couple of things that'll be implemented real soon, including already made teasers for the Side Story content, a pinned monthly schedule, and a visual update to the Patreon prominently featuring my newly revealed face.

Over the course of last month, I actually finished writing the script for RSE to conclusion.  Looks like it's going to be 30 chapters.  Once it finishes, I'm going to move quickly onto a sequel/soft-reboot continues the story with the same characters and setting to start, but can be enjoyed by newcomers who never read the original RSE.

I want to put a lot of thought into that sequel story's premise and the motivations of its central characters so that it gets a strong start.  Planning that stuff out will be my side project for this month at least.

Alright, first the bad news.  Alpha Tier is gonna go up in price next month from $15 to $25, but will now permanently lack any restrictions on what characters are requested for the pin-up.  It won't be the last time the price will go up either.  The commissions were definitely under-costed for the amount of time I put into this stuff, and it definitely still will be.  I can't actually adjust the price of an existing tier which has people still in it, so I'll be adding a new parallel Alpha Tier at the new price this month.  It'll say there's only 2 spots, but anyone currently in the Alpha Tier can message me and I'll create another spot just for them to hop over.  The existing Alpha Tier will be discontinued at the end of November.  However, there's good news for people who wanna vote and don't care about commissions...  A new Beta Tier!

--- BETA TIER ---

Coming in December, a $10 Beta Tier will be available!  Betas can cast votes in the same way Alphas can, but they don't get the pin-ups.  There will be unlimited spots.

The reason I don't just open it up now is that part of the appeal of Alpha Tier was the limited number of spots to guarantee a certain amount of power behind each vote.  I wouldn't want to flood the voting with potential new voters without giving advanced notice.

Next month's votes will have a special theme to commemorate the launch of this tier.

--- GAMMA TIER ---

Having reached the $1000 goal, you guys are being bumped up to 75 guaranteed pages of bonus content per month.  For November, 25 of those are going towards part 2 of Side Story 6, and the rest will be going towards the story based on last month's polls.

You'll also remember I had a poll for how y'all would prefer these pages would be allocated, between 1, 2, or 3 stories.  What we found out is that most of my patrons aren't cops.  Actually, how I interpreted the results was that most people trust me to make the decision.  My intuition is that the longer the story, the better, but my opinion may change in the future.  Next month I'll try doing one 75 page story based on November's polls.

--- OMEGA TIER ---

--- SIGMA TIER ---

The changes being made to Alpha Tier (removing restrictions on what characters can be requested) kind of invalidates Sigma Tier as it is.  Over the next two weeks I'd like to come up with a new function for the Sigma Tier so that there's enough time to respond to any changes before next month.

--- NEW EARNINGS BASED GOAL ---

At $1800, I'd like to release a comic about comics which compiles everything I can think of that would be helpful to potential Koikatsu creators.  Such as mods that aren't in the main pack but are especially helpful, what communities are receptive to this kind of content, and the strategies I personally employ for image composition, character design, etc.  I'll update it whenever I find or someone points out to me something worth adding.  I'll pin it to the top of the Patreon, along with the monthly schedule and bonus content teasers
