January 2023 Asset Release - Mazlo's BIG Cliffs
Added 2023-01-06 08:11:48 +0000 UTCHappy 2023 fellow cartographers! A little late this month, but it was a busy holiday season with family. I think it was worth the wait though, because I was able to pile a bit more assets than usually into this pack!
I've had quite a few people itching to get more cliffs assets, so that's what we're throwing out this month. The BIG Cliffs are a lot more impressive in scale/height than my other ones. The asset size isn't any larger, but the shadows are much taller, which gives the assets some nice height. A lot can be done with these, but I think they'd excel most in regional maps at a city/area scale, but I'm sure you can also make them work on a world map scale.
It's hard to get great detail for every direction (if shadows are heavy on south-facing cliffs, the north-facing cliffs don't have much shadow)...But I did my best to include North, East, and West facing cliffs. Most, however, are South facing. Maybe they can be inverted and still look good!
