Giannis doesn’t have David or Bill Russell timing

He remind me of David Robinson in his prime but I think David Robinson was a little bit better in my opinion

I grew up in Dallas watching Dirk and all you ever heard around town is that he was soft. I never fully agreed but I understood why most people were saying that. Soft or not Dirk was constantly cooking niggas game in and out including the likes of Garnett and Duncan on a regular basis. By the year 09-11 Dirk was virtually unguardable. He was always great but all that pressure he’d been under made him tough.

COJ, how come Isiah Thomas never shot 41.0% FG, in 1 single playoff series of 4 vs the Bulls, when outside of Jordan, they didn’t have great defensive guards, or offensive guards, and the Pistons had a 3 guard rotation, plus Dantley who could score, & later Aguirre, and also they had Laimbeer who could space the floor? I’ve only seen about 7 Isiah series. I’ve heard you say he’s a top 15 all time player, and today you said, basically skill for skill, excluding size, he’s arguably more skilled than Jordan.

I believe a lot of these older NBA stars and players such as Isiah and Oakley, still enjoy the spotlight so they'll say anything about today's basketball players in order to stay somewhat relevant.
As far as the statement you made about Giannis game or needing to expand his game, i agree. It's easy to high fly in your earlier years but going up and coming down on your legs, feet, and knees like that, takes a toll. I think Giannis needs some post moves, like Olajuwon and Ewing and he can still be dominant. Also, Giannis at the weight he's at now, is perfect for his height. I wish a lot of NBA players had that type of discipline when it came to their training and diets

Speaking of the the twin towers type teams the Cavs are currently building like that with Allen and Mobley bright future

Top three power forwards maybe a bit too high. I myself have him top 10 at six behind (Dirk, KG, Pettit, Barkley, Malone and Duncan

It’s funny you say that about Oakleys IQ, cuz he said back in 2016 that there’s guys in the all star game that can’t play basketball. Lol irony!

Is that an organic championship? Depends on if you think he put his foot under kyrie on purpose. If it was , is there any top 10 player that won their championship by intentionally injuring a player ? Not a role player. But a main guy? I’m gonna say no. Giannis has to repeat. That chip against the suns and a hampered Brooklyn team ain’t enough yet

U know.. what’s really funny to me is that in 2020, the narrative was that the Nets were stacking the deck to stop the Lakers. Even tho they’re in different conferences... Yet, now the Sixers acquire Harden and no one claims it was done to stop Giannis and the Bucks; even tho they’re the reigning Champs in the same conference. 🧐
