When I attended college there was an orientation held, where the campus PD spoke to the freshman. During my building’s orientation, there was a small female officer and she stated exactly what you eluded to. That being (she first introduced her male coworker) “My coworker is almost twice my size, if we both can’t get you to cooperate, I have a husband and two kids at home. That being said, by all means I’m making it home to them so I will pop y’all y’all ass” I was so mind boggled by this until I pursued law enforcement as a career and realized the heinous stigma placed on officers. Also the mental composure expected of you despite the varying circumstantial needs to resolve a situation.
