I believe the biblical philistines aka the Canaanites and the ancient Egyptians were a kin to each other or brethren persay. The descendants of the ancient Egyptians are mostly now known today as the so called Nilotic peoples in Africa. Some of the descendants of ancient Canaan or Phonecia could also be of that lineage, but many of them migrated into Eastern and Southern Africa (now known as the Khoisan people) and were quite heavily assimilated or absorbed by subsequent migrations from other Hamite tribes, they’ve very admixed in those populations. But generally speaking, Canaan is scattered all across Africa.

@ Chukwude^^ Most of the tribes along the Gulf of Guinea coast are descendants of the nation of Israel, I’m pretty sure. Igbos, yorubas and a few other tribes would definitely fall under that category, also most Sierra leoneans, Liberians, etc. The term “igbo” is just a deformed version of the term “hebrew”. That region was where some of the exiled Jews went to. However, at the end the day our people are scattered abroaf, across all 4 corners of the earth due to all the captivities we’ve been in, and that was due our disobedience to the most high. Bro most of Africa is Hamitic lol.The vast majority of so called blacks here in the Western Hemisphere are descendants of eitherthe aboriginal native Americans (such as the Incas, Aztecs, mayans, omechs, etc), the blacks who came here from Europe after their rulership there, and the remaining minority are the blacks who were sent here from the west coast of Africa. There were Cushites and canaanites inhabiting most of western and Southern Africa before we even came there. It’s not truly our homeland. Tribes like the Hausa, fulani, Chadians, Tuareg, the Khoisan, are those people today.
