Some thoughts after getting bashed on Reddit

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who accepted the free 1-month gift, and also to those who were supporting me even before that. I got bashed on Reddit for posting invitation in the Godot community, like I was trying to scam people. It's tough to read stuff like that because it was never my intention.

Let me be clear: you're not obligated to stay or support me after the trial ends. I’ve already heard from many of you, and the positive feedback shows me this really is something that can help. It helps you move your game forward, and it helps me build a Patreon community that actually makes sense.

I'm giving five years of my work for free, for any past projects and anything you start during your subscription. I thought that was a fair exchange for trying to build a community here. And I don’t see this as a done deal - I plan to keep working hard to give you a real reason to stick around.
