New Monthly Series: Patron Wishlist Packs 💡

I’m starting something new: a monthly sound pack created from your ideas.

Each month, you’ll be able to submit one sound effect idea using a simple form, always accessible from my pinned post. This isn’t custom work in the usual sense, since there are no revisions, and not every wish will make it in, since there are so many of you. But the final pack will reflect the current vibe of our little creative circle. A kind of beautiful chaos. These packs help me stay creative and explore new ideas, and I hope they’ll bring you something fun, useful, or maybe even surprisingly fitting for your next project!

This is not a competition, and I’m not looking for flashy or perfectly original ideas. You don’t need to overthink it — just share whatever comes to mind. Anything you'd like to hear in your game, your world, or your scene is welcome. 😊

The best ideas are described as specific actions or moments, not single words or vague themes. Here are a few nice examples of well-described wishes that give me enough direction while leaving space for interpretation:

• Looting a large crate with a holy presence
• Opening ancient stone gates
• Picking up a legendary sword
• Drinking a glowing potion and throwing the bottle aside
• A magical coin spill
• Using a stealth gadget or activating an invisibility cloak
• Smashing a cursed relic with a hammer
• Opening a paper map with a spark of fire
• Activating a floating hologram map
• Short fire spell charging
• Small slimy sci-fi creature attack
• Disarming or activating a mechanical trap in a dungeon
• Cursed portal opening
• Heavy sci-fi cannon shot
• Sliding open a stone sarcophagus
• Interacting with a haunted mirror
• Drawing a bow with a magical string
• Slamming shut a heavy wooden door with iron bolts
• Transforming into shadow form
• Whispering spirits escaping from a sealed urn
• Enchanted chains movement

Ideas are chosen using a randomizer to keep things fair, but I also step in to make sure the final selection fits together and stays manageable. Not all submissions will be used — not because I don’t want to include them (I really do), but because I can’t take on too much at once. I try to give each sound proper attention and make sure it’s something I can craft well. I’ll do my best to keep the pack interesting, varied, and fun.

• One idea per person, please
• The number of sounds depends on how many submissions come in
• All ideas submitted during a given month go into the pack released the following month
• I can’t create voice lines, real animal sounds (like horses or dogs), realistic firearms or military-style weapons, or modern vehicles like cars and engines (unless you really want the sound of an old Hyundai Elantra or i30)

How to Share Your Sound Idea:

The submission form link is always available in the pinned post, so you can find it easily each month.

Thanks for being here, I’m genuinely looking forward to this!
