Czepeku Map: Templar Sea Fort - Unofficial Ambience & Music

This is the first map in my new unofficial series of ambience and music packs inspired by Czepeku and Czepeku Sci-Fi creations. I’ll be following their map releases going forward, covering both new and older maps in time. This post also serves as a soft launch of the entire project.

• The first map I covered is the beautiful Templar Sea Fort, and it gives you a clear idea of how the rest of the series will be structured. For this release (and for future ones as well), I’ve created six core audio tracks to match my vision of the map:

This covers the standard day and night format found on most Czepeku maps. You can use the ambience and music tracks separately, layer them together and adjust the volume to your liking, or simply use the combined versions I’ve prepared for an easy, ready-to-go option.

• But here’s where it gets even more fun. Most Czepeku maps come with 15 or more alternate variations, so I’ve created a Universal Overlay Ambiences Collection to help support as many of those as possible. These are subtle, loopable sounds like rain, wind, fire, waves, blizzards, battles, lava, and more. You can simply play them on top of the base ambiences to shift the mood and match different map versions.

The first volume of overlay ambiences arrives tomorrow, and I’ll be expanding the collection over time.

All sounds are seamless loops and volume-standardized. Ambiences and Overlays are exactly 10 minutes long. Music (and combined music + ambience) loops are also close to 10 minutes, though they may vary slightly depending on the composition.

There are no strict rules. You can mix ambience from one map with music from another if it suits your needs. And of course, you’re free to use these sounds in your own projects or non-Czepeku maps as well.

Everything will be uploaded to Moulinette once a month and made available in both WAV and OGG formats here on Patreon.
