Anatomy Tutorial Video - character + info

I'll most likely do it with another Bondage Sunday character, so the poll for next Sunday is going to be here.
Mercy is in the making by the way, I'll be posting sketches of her on Discord soon - otherwise I'm working on commissions and requests.

Question: how do you draw any sort of bondage such as ropes, webs, tapes etc onto a human anatomy without looking bad or weird?
