1 Year of HDRI Haven

It's been one year since HDRI Haven opened up as a platform of 100% free HDRIs for everyone. It's been a wild ride so far, but I think we're only just getting started :)

There have been a total of just over 2,000,000 HDRI downloads from the site, adding up to about 246 terabytes of bandwidth from approximately 200,000 unique users*.

It's been interesting keeping an eye on Graphtreon too, which tracks the donations on Patreon over time:

A total of about $17,600 has been donated. $1,880 was spent on the server and related web hosting services, $4,250 on travel and equipment, and $3,900 set aside for future costs. The remainder was partly used for my own living costs or paying the recent new HDRI authors, or gobbled up by various banking and exchange rate fees.

I'm happy to note that everything seems to be going pretty steadily! This predictability, thanks to your repeating monthly donations, has allowed me to start working with some more photographers to shoot HDRIs regularly for the site, freeing up some of my time to work on growing the site further and expanding to new horizons.
