What came to mind is that for me being awesome has always been more about making others be even more so.

When the tragedy in Ukraine began, I got a piano for a friend to use in protests.
Over the years I worked closely with holocaust survivors, always trying my best to focus on bringing joy into their lives.
Companies small and large have used my image from breweries to Mastercard to music schools to hotels to websites like squarespace and countless lesser known ones

And the best part for me in all cases was that I never demanded any compensation in return. I was happy support others and hopefully make things more awesome. Some kind of reward wasn’t ever necessary.
But Alas, since the pandemic, awesomeness as a concept seems to be in short supply. And creating it is like farming in a draught. This last week of April, I took a short breather in Virginia, but I’m heading back to NYC to continue cultivating awesome as much as possible.

OTHERWISE, I’ll be setting aside most of my patreon funds for a new permanent space for me and the pianos, a place that you all can comfortably visit and see your generosity at work. Rents and inflation are sky high in NYC. Im not sure what’s up with that. But each month I get closer and will hopefully have something soon!!!
