After many requests, the Concubine System is finally here!

This update brings a fresh layer of narrative to your royal households — from courtly favoritism and gift-giving to jealous shunning and whispered rumors.

🏵️ Concubine Roles

• Designate Sims as concubines via new social interactions available as a Monarch

• Each concubine receives a custom trait (Singing, Dancing, Flower Arranging, etc.) with skill boosts

• New interactions between concubines, monarchs & royal partners

💎 Royal Gift System

• Bestow physical tokens of favor with custom buffs and moodlets:

  • 🪷 Lily

  • 📿 Sacred Charm

  • 🧣 Silk Scarf

  • 🥿 Silk Slippers

  • 📜 Private Poem
    (Gifts can be found in the concubines inventory)

🏵️ Favorite Concubine Status

• Choose one concubine as your Monarch's Favorite

• Unique buffs, a relationship bit, and special social interactions

• Only one Sim may hold this title at a time

🎭 Shunning & Jealousy

• Concubines can shun each other, locking out social access

• Jealous interactions when another wears the Monarch’s favor

🗣️ Rumors

• New unique court rumors with:

  • Custom interactions

  • 3 randomized notification variants each

  • Custom moodlets for the targeted sim

🛏️ Custom Intimacy

• Adds custom WooHoo and Try For Baby interactions to concubines, these don't require any friendship or romance between the Monarch & Concubine!

  • Summoned to Monarch's Chambers (WooHoo)

  • Try for an Heir (Try for Baby)

• Custom buffs for the concubine after

• Non-jealous Royal Partner logic (with new snide remarks)

• Dozens of new buffs, icons, relbits, and pie menus

• Fully integrated with existing Royalty systems

• New interactions for Illegitimate Royals

• Babies of Concubines & Monarchs will receive the 'Illegitimate Royal' trait

🔧 Bug Fixes & Tweaks

• Re-added & adjusted Permission to Marry — now only one Sim in the partnership requires permission

• Fixed Trial by Stake and all death-related failures

• Tax Collector now only appears on Fridays (no more midweek visits!)

• Removed: Claim Throne interaction (currently unfixable)

• Fixed: Ravenwood Royal & Noble icon

• Added: Nordhaven Royal & Noble traits

• Fixed: Enamorada Noble trait

• Illegitimate Royal trait now properly applies to Sims born in-game

Please delete any old Royalty Mod files and replace with this new update.
