Discord Patrons
Added 2022-06-18 17:29:57 +0000 UTCI want to issue an apology to Discord Patrons for the cancellation of game nights recently. I have in the past been known to reschedule but it’s been far more frequent these last few months.
I think outside of external factors such as outside noise making calls harder (having windows open due to the hotter temperatures) and bad Internet, the reason is stress: I’ve been sick more often than usual after losing my job a couple of months ago and prone to more anxiety attacks and frankly I’ve been extremely depressed. All of this compounded to game nights being cancelled more often, of which I am sorry for.
The good news is I have a job offer! Once my DBS checks have gone through I can start and the source of stress will be gone.
In the meantime, I will be scaling back game nights to 3 a month and build on that, adding more game suggestions from Patreon members.
If you are a Discord Patron and wish to have a refund for the last month due to the cancellation of game nights recently, please let me know. I’m hoping by scaling them back to 3 rather than 4 and starting a new job that will relieve my financial anxieties will prevent me from being too anxious and/or sick from hosting them.
