These updates are mostly bug fixes to ensure that the features in the previous versions of these two mods work as they should. Everything should run a lot smoother now.
More updates are on the horizon, so keep an eye out—and happy simming!
Venue List
To make sure this mod works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List. I also recommend updating it whenever there is a new mod version out as I constantly add in new custom venue compatibility from other mod authors.
Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.
Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)
Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*
Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.
Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.
Choose which Optional Packages you want included.
Delete your localthumbcache.package
* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.
Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)
Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.
Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.
Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
Delete your localthumbcache.package

I don't see the necessary items for the casino, when I do repairs on the casino object, I miss some mandatory items and accordingly they are not in my item gallery. What could be the problem? I've even deleted all other mods from the Mods folder except Basemental Gangs and still nothing works

2025-06-14 16:02:02 +0000 UTCI love your mods but I had this conflict with tmex Tool went and took it all out and put in 1 by 1 and found it to be your gambling mod. Sorry it had something to do with pop ups or recolor not sure what that means. I hope this helps as I enjoyed it.

Such as for onlooker sims (or sims smoking themselves!) disapproving my sims also smoking the hookah? I have things legal. I was just wondering about that? Again, thank you so so much for this awesome mod, haha!

For example, weed lowers the hunger/fullness bar (the munchies) while cigarettes, coke, adderall, and meth fill the sim up since cigarettes and uppers usually kill the appetite irl. Uppers can also fill the energy bar since people can stay up for days on them irl.

At first he was just a smalltime "Street Hustler" (s/o #arousedpalms @ mts), living in a 'bando in San Myshuno, attending the university for his villainy degree. He had dreams of becoming a Mad Scientist to create a cloned group of girls to... um... help him "build his empire", in a nightclub sure to be the hottest spot in town, but he soon made his mark in the underground and was solicited by the local crime syndicate. He quickly rose through the ranks becoming the Boss, but that wasn't enough for him. He needed more and he needed to be independent with no lackeys and no one looking over his shoulder.... no chance cards. After talking to Akira Kibo, the local dealer and Karaoke Legend, he began building his clientele. From housewives to college students...even the mayor's wife, his phone rang off the hook constantly. But still, that wasn't enough. He wanted more, to have more and to be more. Besides, he was tired of the mid-grade he got from Akira -- but no shade, he put him on and they were close friends. He decided to start his garden. He built a greenhouse and got some fertilizer and began to plant seeds. It wasn't long before he had the best green all around, Folks as far as Nordhaven sought him out for the best strains on the globe, but one strain eluded him: Thai Sticks. He just had to get his hands on it and tried to meet with Shigeru Nishidake from Mt. Komorebi, village elder and neighborhood 'heavy', but he died of old age before he could arrange a meeting. Alas, it would be the one thing that got away, but not for long... In the meantime, he amassed millions ($5.6 mil in fact) and purchased the largest and highest plateau in Del Sol Valley, becoming the envy (and dealer) of his famous neighbors. Still, he knew what he was doing wasn't exactly legal, and his duffle bag he got from #RVSN wasn't enough to hide all of the cash he was making. He had to go legit in some way. He remembered his original dream. His garden had distracted him from the girls and he still wanted to open that club. He decided to put his degree to use and entered the scientist career. His mornings were filled with gardening, his afternoons were filled with scientific pursuits and his evenings? Well, Siobhan and her sister had taken a liking to him and while Siobhan had influence over his heart, Morgan was his best friend and partner in crime. They moved in and Morgan had agreed to be his first clone test subject. Everything was lines up and ready; finally had come the day when he would began to build his stable... ...and my dumbass deleted my save file!! DAFUQ!!! (...on the phone, running my mouth, not paying attention... No roll-back, unrecoverable, last save file too far into the past from my old pc, and I had just upgraded my laptop, so... no other recent save files.) While Brad lives on in my gallery awaiting the day to be restored, he secretly and patiently plots on finding and creating the perfect Thai strand, starting his club with his stable of clones and becoming the most feared and respected gang leader of the biggest crime syndicate in all of Sim Nation.
