How it should. The only difference is the compatibility for Gibbi Point, the new region added in the Adventure Awaits expansion pack.
Venue List
To make sure this mod works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List. I also recommend updating it whenever there is a new mod version out as I constantly add in new custom venue compatibility from other mod authors.
Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.
Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)
Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*
Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.
Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.
Choose which Optional Packages you want included.
Delete your localthumbcache.package
* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.
Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)
Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.
Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.
Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
Delete your localthumbcache.package

Hey Base I'm curious about something. Why do we need a bench or to sit when sharing a blunt with a friend? I have started to keep one of the outdoor folding benches in my inventory for when I am away from my lot. You never know who you might run into and want to toke up.

2025-11-09 14:59:41 +0000 UTCHi, I’m currently using the latest version of Basemental Drugs (8.18.235 Patreon release), and I’m getting consistent desync errors on game startup caused by the module april_fools.py. The error appears in my lastException.txt and points to: .\BasementalDrugs_8.18.235-PATREON\Basemental\injections\april_fools.py\april_fools.py It’s triggering UnavailablePackSafeResourceError and AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'get_model', with references to non-existent objects like GoldSim_CandyJar_Rec_Candy and final_product: U. It looks like the april_fools.py injector was accidentally left inside the .ts4script file in this build — even though there’s no visible folder in the mod directory, the code still loads from inside the archive. I’ve tested this by removing the .ts4script and the desyncs immediately stopped. Could you please confirm if this module was meant to be included, or if it will be removed in the next update/hotfix (8.18.236 or later)? It’s currently causing conflicts with TOOL, MCCC, SNB Bills, and Lumpinou Life Milestones due to the injector chain. Thank you for your amazing work — I just wanted to share this in case it helps with the next release build.
