Town Showcase: an Exclusive Preview of one of the Shops

Hello everyone! Léa here to bring you an exclusive preview of our clothes shop! Chloé already showed you some of the buildings she built in this post, and the building I’m revealing today is directly facing them, on the other side of the plaza!

All new building always starts with a moodboard and a sketch to give us a rough idea of our direction. I named this establishment “L’Armoire”, a French word that translates to “The Wardrobe”. I wanted the owner of the building to built a store vaguely inspired by French fashion stores in Paris, while still being located in the Old Town of our city and staying coherent with the rest of the Plaza.

In this preliminary sketch for “L’Armoire”, you will see that the design has evolved quite a lot, especially the color palette.

The building is placed on a hill and the shop is on two levels with two entrances, one on the plaza, and the other on the street. The first floors have floor-to-ceiling window displays that allow you to see some of the clothes that are sold there. There is an apartment on the last floor and a terrace on the rooftop.

For now, it hasn’t been confirmed if this building will be a rabbit hole or not.

Just like Chloé did in her last post about the town, I had to blur a few buildings to keep some surprises for later!

PAM Showcase: a Variety of New Pants, Shorts, and a Skirt

Last week, I was on a mission: get the game ready for summer by adding as many jean shorts as possible! For good measure, I also added a cute little jean skirt. I also added two cargo pants, one baggy, one fitted. Having clothes easily found in everyone's wardrobes is still one of our big objectives with the PAM in order to help you recreate your everyday outfits!

Let’s take a closer look!

These pants are closer to a jogging, comfy, and stretchy.

A pair of baggy cargo pants for those who like sturdy clothes.

I feel like I’ve seen those shorts everywhere recently!

I’ve been dreaming of finding a good jean skirt, so I just added it to the game.

Those shorts were already in the game, but not in jeans, so I created this new version. EVERYTHING MUST BE IN JEANS.

Sometimes you just want a pair of very short shorts, and I created those exactly for that!

You cut these yourself, and they’ve started to fray, but it’s part of what makes them special.
