Last year, Sonia, Chloé and I were tasked with a special week-long project to spice things up in our catalog by adding unique items (the weirder the better) and you loved it! I’m happy to announce that Chloé and I are back at it again this year. 😎
Like the previous edition, we had complete freedom on what we wanted to create, as long as it was unexpected and unusual. I hope you’re ready for this!
A lot is happening, I know. Don’t worry I can explain, but I won’t!
Chloé expanded our clown collection, lucky us!🤡
You are an introvert and don’t want guests getting too comfortable? We have the perfect couch for you!
By far the cutest couch available in our catalog, just look at its little face ❤️
The much needed body part collection, if you ever need a hand, just open the door!
The throne we didn’t know we couldn’t live without, and a fuzzy toilet for all the grandmas sensitive to the cold!
It’s over the top and very expensive, but if you dream of being in a fantasy world, it’s the perfect shelf for you! It’s resizable to fit most beds and create the most unique bedroom for your Parafolks.
Still in the bedroom, we have a majestic bed inspired by an octopus, and a lamp to go with it!
Remember this iconic body pillow (left)? Chloé gifted us two new designs with cute anime men: in the middle, we have Toshio, and to the right, Tom.
Miki needed more merchandising, so Chloé added a cute (or cursed?) little chair for her biggest fans.
We also added weird plushies, for reasons. A teddy bear with teeth, a worm plushy, and a very tired blob (I’m not sure exactly what it is 😂) I chose to add a very long weird-looking cat, requested by one of our team members years ago as a joke.

That’s it for this new edition of the Strangest Objects in Paralives! Doing this every year is Chloé and I’s favorite tradition in the studio, but don’t worry we are already back on track to create more ‘’normal’’ items 🙂

(I swear my Paras house is just going to be full of weird couches) I also love the mouth fireplace and the other body part furniture, so odd but in the best way! I'd love if Paralives started a tradition of a weird/odd objects update each year.

I can send you some pics if you's like to make a themed set, I mean everyone loves a villain, right? But really loving the kiddie play kitchen, that is adorable, and those castle beds are awesome. I absolutely adore that y'all make a point to do this kind of thing, it feels like such an important part of creating this really unique new contender in the genre.

2024-11-15 21:30:01 +0000 UTCThese are all nice, I especially love the Tiger themed couch's, and the stretched cat plushie, I love cats, so the more cat themed items the better. I like the more creepy plushies too, and I hope both adults and children can play around with them, and they're not just for decor. I miss my simulated people having a teddy bear or some kind of plushie to cuddle and carry around. With the two different types of toilets, it got me thinking of other types, like a chamber pot or even a bucket for a toilet, lol! The Castle shelves remind me of some CC I've gotten for The Sims games, but this is better because you can use different beds, the CC already had a bed attached.

2024-11-15 18:00:15 +0000 UTCI know you guys can't for legal reasons, but I will be waiting patiently for someone (with better modeling skills) to modify the tiger into the Catbus from Totoro. I also really like that castle shelf with the single bed. Make a private little space for the little prince/princess in your life. I agree with another comment that it would be cool to use it with other kinds of furniture. Maybe put some chairs under it and make a kids' reading nook in a library.

I need more items matching this style so I can give my first Para's firstborn child a super cute bedroom even the people from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition wouldn't dare design ! (is that show still on ? hm probably not) You could easily place a desk or a couch/bench there, too. Or it could be used in a store that sells toys. I really like that it's not part of a bed, although it is clearly designed for it ; it adds so much flexibility to this weird item ! It's out there, but it's also full of potential and so it will be used by a lot of people. Oh and it lights up, too ? The cactus couch is also very fun. It looks spikey and yet it's so round and comfy-looking... The mouth fireplace, however, I can't condone. I also love the weird plushies. I'm still hoping for a frog at some point, as I ADORE frogs as a theme for a kid/toddler bedrooms, but a frog would be way too normal for this post. Obviously. The long cat reminds me of this gif ( https://www.pinterest.com/pin/623256035909937788/ ) and has the same potential for jokes as the Long Long Man ads ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-1Ue0FFrHY ). If there were actual functional tigers in the game, that would be so sick, but I am aware that it is not priority! Ps.
