A Secret Gift!
Added 2023-10-08 07:58:53 +0000 UTCMy aunt Donna commissioned me to do a painting for one of my uncles. He turned 50 years old last month. I couldn't post about it bc even though he doesn't frequent social media much. And... Well, I didn't give myself time to post much. π
Anyway, it's a strip style watercolor of him going to a ramen shop while overseas. He plays upright bass and loves ramen (& other nerd stuff) and is very well traveled. He's mad cool. Really friggin dope. His name's Kevin Hamilton if anyone's interested in lookin him up.
Anyway, I missed the party but my father and Donna wore my shirts and took a photo and sent it to me so it was like I was really there in spirit πππ Naturally, the painting arrived late. But they were able to frame it and stuff and when they gifted it to him y'allβy'all he cried and called me and made me cry.
Unfortunately I lost my voice to the day before so we couldn't talk about it but we will when I see him very soon. I'm just glad he likes it. π₯Ήπ
