A new surprise show for them? The lone Reaper awaiting a challenge sits patiently at the far side of the circle of dirt and grime, unmoving but clearly watching.
The announcer calls out with a mix of glee and practiced confidence at this sudden change of pace.
"Well now! What have we here!!! A new challenger? A special guest? Or something else entirely!!! What do you think folks???" A roar of enthusiastic approval deafens you. They haven't seen you yet. An almost instinctual drive pushes you to step into the arena, some innate human desire for attention and glory. You look around at your companions and see them struggling to gather themselves, to gather your spoils and escape. You swear for a second you heard Seri...

For now, yeah. I wasn't in a very good place in my life at the time of the last episode and in order to make room for the rest of my work/brain matter unfortunately I needed to push Earthblood off to the side for a while. Hopefully I can pick it back up again sometime though as I really enjoy working on the longform character-driven series' ๐ฅฐ๐
