I don't think I can charge my patrons for content that anybody can go see for free on the YouTube .. unless I set videos as "private" but then I couldn't hotlink them from here, could I? How does this work? More research is needed.

Too many obstacles.. the main one being a pesky local ordinance.
2017-07-06 02:45:32 +0000 UTCyou can upload an "unlisted" video on youtube, which prevents it from showing up in searches and makes people require the actual URL to see it, so that might work.

2017-07-05 17:03:50 +0000 UTCI've personally seen videos that could not be searched or shown on the channel's list in youtube, but that get linked in Patreon and can be viewed by a link coming from Patreon. MinuteEarth does it all the time.
