Tales of Springfield 6

In the Saga I adopted a rule of not using thought bubbles.  I would never reveal this much of Zandar's inner monologue now.

However there IS something inherently wrong with a comic book entitled "The Inedible Husk"

The Saga rules work well... maybe because we accumulate a history of watching her act & react in so many situations. But these views inside her thoughts were useful here. A quick way to show how she classifies those she meets. The thought balloons almost have to be a translation. If she has this organized a commentary to herself as she gets information, it might make her vulnerable to someone who could 'hear' the unspoken conversation.

far be it from me to tell a creative how to tell there stories. but as a whole I think absolutes isnt a good thing. Anything can be overused or used as a story crutch. Theres nothing inherently wrong with an occasional thought bubble.
