The great thing about a stationary subject is: I can leave the shutter open for a long time while I muck about with lights.
Enjoy a tri-photo post to make up for the fact that I didn't get one in before this day officially ended in my time zone.

For these exposures I had the camera on a tripod and the room was completely dark except for a battery-powered LED bar which I waved around while the shutter was locked open.

In this one you can see the trailing edge of the lightbar where I moved it in front of the camera: It's that thin wisp that looks like cigarette smoke.
