I started out small at the end of the hall. Didn't have an office, just a spot on the wall. Then I got promoted to a bathroom stall ('fore you learn to walk you gotta learn to crawl). From that point on, it was all uphill - a couple lucky breaks or I would be there still, perched on the bowl like a bump on a log - but I flushed my reports and I worked like a dog til finally I got some recognition, and I was recommended for an advanced position to an office with a window and a stunning view of an alley with some steps and a trash can, too! I'm on my way! (instrumental break) A couple of years I worked real hard, and I got moved up to a place in the yard with executive perks - man, this setup is sweet! Got my own water dish and all the seed I can eat! Once you taste the good life, you know you can't stop. I'm in a good position now to shoot for the top. I'm on my way!
