Zandar's Saga, Kelly Pinup, and First Doodle post will be coming in the next few hours. The Ballad of Adler Young will be delayed until tomorrow because that's Too Darn Many Things to post in one day. And nobody cares about the Ballad anyway.

2020-01-01 21:34:46 +0000 UTCIt's something about the way that circuit is designed. It works great quantizing MOVING voltages, but if you give it a steady voltage it wallows and dithers. What it is SUPPOSED to do is snap to the nearest quantized value and hold steady .. I don't know, electronically, how this is accomplished - but Blue Lantern chose to implement it in a squishy, imprecise way so if the input voltage is steady the quantizer has trouble deciding what to do with it.

The whole reason for me making those archive files was because Certain People told me they didn't want to slog through Tumblr posts. I don't know what they have against Tumblr; I set my blog to display 10 posts per page so it won't swamp your browser, and that's the best I can make it. Click on "Chronological view" to start at the beginning.
