Just a twig

I was mowing this afternoon and spotted this suspicious character on the side of the house. If this was video you'd see the undulating twiglike movements she started doing when I got close with the camera. A MOVING TWIG? Pull the other one while you're at it!
I have seen bright green mantises about half this size in the Swamp but this is the first "Carolina Mantis" I've seen here - and by far the biggest, about 4 inches (10cm) from stem to stern.
