Last call for Doodles

I'm going to have to shut down the Doodle Club.  The past few months have each been a nail-biting race against the clock to get all of my commissions done before the deadline.  This time I had to squeeze out what I really feel is sub-par work at the last minute, which I don't feel proud of, and that really bothers me.  It's not fair to my commission patrons, who are paying top dollar, to get rushed & sloppy art from me.  It also doesn't feel fair to me, after calculating the amount of work I do for posting here, dividing my total Patreon income by the number of days worked and realizing that I'm getting paid approximately $25 a day for it.  (Too depressed now to try dividing that down to an hourly rate.)  It all seemed doable back in the summer when everyone was afraid of Covid and my social schedule was completely empty.  Now that real life is starting to lay claim to me again, it's a different story.  There's very little time left over to draw things I want to draw.  I only managed to make two Thompson pages this month.  There should have been more.  I have got to lighten this workload before I burn out.

Therefore, this is the last month for $10 Doodle Club.  Go ahead and make your requests as usual, but remember to change your subscription to a different tier before the end of December.  I will unpublish this tier and stop posting to it after the last Doodle of 2020 is done.

Doodles will continue to be a benefit of Super Secret Double First Class and the commission tiers, but I'm assuming the price tag will limit the number of takers there ... and if not, well, maybe the increase in pay will make me feel better about being constantly busy.

Another factor to consider is that if all of you move down to $4 it could reduce my total monthly income below $600, which will put Zandar's Saga back on a 2-pages-a-month schedule (posting 1 a month on FA).  Slower Zandar might be bad, but on the other hand less pages to draw could be the bit of breathing room I need.

Anyhow, here's the Doodle rules once more for old time's sake:

1.  Requests must appear in comments of the latest Doodle post (currently this one, but later on, as new posts push old posts down the page they get harder and harder to view)

2.  R rated or tamer.  Nudity OK, female preferred.  Males can't have erections showing.  Venery scenes will be composed so naughty bits aren't visible.

3.  Your characters or mine.  Third party with owner permission.  No fan art of corporate trademark characters from games, movies, cartoons, etc that I could get sued over.

4.  Production time is supposed to be an hour start-to-finish, which includes reading your request and studying any reference material.  Please keep it simple.

5.  Deadline is December 20th to get your request in.  After that I have to switch over to frantic commission work.
