That means this had to have been made on some digital "analog modeling" synth, probably a MicroKorg or a Micron, and stacked up meticulously by overdubbing one track at a time, by hand. Hoo boy, I can't say it has aged well.
I had to suffer through it several times during recording; surely you can endure it once.
